HONK! Festival
Fri.-Sun., Oct. 8-10. The HONK! Festival is a revolutionary street spectacle of never-before-seen proportions that will converge for the fifth time in Davis Square this Columbus Day weekend. More at http://honkfest.org.

Neighbor-to-Neighbor Workshops
DARBI residents and business people can offer "how to" workshops of any type to share their knowledge of crafts, home improvement, finance, cooking or just about anything else.

Recent DARBI workshops have included "How to Make Your Own Lip Balm and Salt Scrub" and "Basic Home Maintenance for Existing and Prospective Property Owners." Future workshops are planned for "How to Get Great Photos of Your Child"; "Forcing Bulbs Indoors"; "Re-Designing Our Homes to Suit Our Changing Needs"; "Making the Perfect Chocolate Chip Cookie"; and "How to Hire a Contractor."

Do you have a skill or knowledge base you want to share? Help your neighbors, build your business. We're open to (mostly) all ideas. Workshops should be between 30 min. and 1 1/2 hours. Instructors are not paid but can distribute information about their business and can charge participants a materials fee if disclosed in advance.

Interested? Please email your idea to DARBI president Thalia Tringo at tctringo@rcn.com.
