Proposed Wine & Antipasto Bar

Hello Neighbors,

Felisha Foster, wine buyer at Dave’s Fresh Pasta, and proprietor, Dave Jick, are planning to open a neighborhood wine and antipasto bar next door at 89 Holland, formerly Black and Blues.

Our vision is a small (45 seat) neighborhood place where you can enjoy a variety of antipasti and tapas along with a glass of wine or artisanal beer. An emphasis will be placed on cheeses, charcuterie, salads, specialty sandwiches, bruschetta, pate, soups, and seafood. When possible we will use local food products. The wine, like our selection at Dave’s, will consist of small production wineries with a variety offered by the glass and an extensive bottle selection. Aperitifs and sherries will be highlighted as well.

The atmosphere will be comfortable, low key, and conducive to enjoying the wine, food, and conversation. There will be no live or loud music.

As a neighbor or patron of Dave’s we hope you are looking forward to this as much as we are. We feel it will be an asset to the Davis Square area. We encourage you to stop by with any questions or concerns you might have. We will have a petition to support the license application in the store, and a neighborhood meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, June 14th at 6:00 p.m. at 89 Holland Street.

Thanks for your continuing support.

Sincerely,

Felisha Foster
